Help Sacramento Audubon Keep Up to Date

As we approach fire season this year, Sacramento Audubon could use your help in keeping our information up to date. If you visit an area and find it is inaccessible, damaged, or changed, please email sacramentoaudubon@gmail.com. Help us to provide the best information possible to all those who visit our website and are out there birding in our community.

In early spring of 2020, the Fleming Meadow Trail was recommended as a great location for birding in the spring. Then the Caldor Fire shut the trail to the public. It has since reopened, however, there are many warning signs and dangers in visiting this trail. Many thanks to the SAS member who visited the area, took pictures, and forwarded us the information.

If you have information to share please email sacramentoaudubon@gmail.com.
